Yesterday was Mya's first dance lessons! I took this video and pictures right before we left.

We had so much fun at our first Tot and Mom dance class. We started out by dancing to a Zoo song and we danced like different animals. For example: elephants, cats, monkeys, and frogs. Then we moved on the dancing with a stuffed bear, Mya really had fun with her bear. Next, we did a little stretching exercise. We sat on the ground with our legs opened and we made pizzas. We rolled the dough and added lots of toppings. We had a jumping game and then it was off to tumbling. Mya LOVED this part. We jumped on the trampoline, did somersaults (which I didn't know if Mya knew how and she did awesome), and we ran up a big foam wedge and then jumped off the end. Mya was having so much fun in the tumbling area that I just stood back and let her do her thing. She did so good and she listened to the teacher the best of all the children. At least I thought so, but I am her mom :D. Mya got a stamp on her hand for doing a good job at dance. She was so excited about her stamp. We were headed to go swimming after dance and she informed me that she didn't want to get her hand wet. I think she was concerned that her stamp would wash off, which it did. We had a wonderful time at the pool too.
This past weekend we went and stayed at Scott's sister Michelle's house in Manti. We don't get to see Scott's sister and her family very often so we (Scott's brother Bobby and his family and Scott's sister Julie and her husband) went to visit for the weekend. It was fun to see all the little girls play. We really didn't do much but hang out around the house and chat, it was great. On the way home we stopped by Scott's Grandparents houses in Levan and Nephi. It was wonderful to get to see them again. Grandma and Grandpa Jarrett gave us some fresh peas, carrots, potatoes and lettuce from their garden. Mya has already eaten all the peas and carrots, Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Jarrett. I was so busy having fun that I forgot to take pictures of the weekend, sorry.
