Christmas 2009

I LOVE Christmas time!! I love all the traditions and seeing family all the time. One of our little family traditions is to make cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve morning. It is so much fun now that Mya can help.

Then we head over to Scott's parents house for a day full of activities.

The little girls making sugar cookies.

And then someone special showed up....Santa!!!

Mya was a little nervous of this Santa but she did sit on Santa's lap at the mall.

Jesse was not too sure about Santa either.

Now it was time to eat the cookies!!

Mya has such beautiful eyes.

Jesse loves Gran Mary and Grandpa Al's fish. He could seriously sit here all day long and play with the fish.

A little cuddle time with Mom. Such a cute boy!!

In the nativity Mya was able to be Mary and hold baby Jesus. She did a great job!

And Jesse was Joseph.

Almost all the grandkids in their matching pajamas

Our cute family

I got this cute sweater from Scott's sister Michelle
Jesse loved playing with this shiny paper. I could not get him to look up at the camera for the life of me.

Scott got some Arsenal stuff from his brother Kelly

Mya got this doll house from Grandma and Grandpa

Jesse got some drums from Grandma and Grandpa

This is our stockings after Santa came to our house!

Christmas morning we had to wake the kids up about 8 o'clock to open presents, they were so worn out from the day before.

Mya love Hersey Kisses, thank you Santa

Mya's barbie from Santa

Jesse loves this hammer, mostly because it makes so many fun noises.

I got Scott a remote control helicopter and I have to admit that I have never seen him so excited about a present in the 7 years that we have been married.

The kids love it too!

Jesse was not too sure at first but he really likes it now.

Scott's Birthday/ Thanksgiving

Scott had his birthday the Monday before Thanksgiving, he turned 31!!! Man, he is getting old! It is so wonderful that I will always be younger than Scott. No matter how old I am, he will always be older! The day before his birthday, Mya and I made Scott a homemade German Chocolate birthday cake. It took me all morning to make but it was all worth when I saw the look on Scott's face after his first bite. And it was also fun to be in the kitchen with Mya, she loves to cook with me. Jesse had fun watching the mixer go round and round. We had a little get together on Sunday. And then on Monday, Scott and I went to dinner and finished Christmas shopping for the kids. It was really fun to spend some time just the 2 of us.

When we went to go visit my mom, Jesse had a blast wearing Daddy's hat.

Thanksgiving was so much fun!

Jesse turned 9 months old the day before Thanksgiving! He is growing up way too fast.

Mya loves playing with Makena, I am sure that they are going to be good friends when they get older.

My mom had Jesse at the time of this picture, our little family just doesn't look right without him.

Halloween 2009

I know, I know.....I am so behind on posting Halloween! It is hard to find time to post, sorry. We had such a fun Halloween! Mya was really excited, she remembered everything from last year and so she was super excited to gets lots of candy. The day before Halloween I took the kids all dressed up in their costumes to Scott's work. It was so fun to show everyone our adorable kids! Scott's parents also work in the same building and so we got to go visit with them too.

Here are the kids after we got back from visiting Scott at work...they were pretty worn out!

I painted Jesse's nose black (his is a cow) and her rubbed it all off by the time we got home. That night we had a party at my brother's house. We ate chili, played games and carved pumpkins! We had such a fun time, thank Shane and Malia!!
Here are all the grandkids! It was kind of tricky to get all 11 kids sitting and smiling for the picture. We do our best, right!?!
We had a doughnut eating contest, the kids had to eat the doughnuts without theirs hands. Mya did pretty good but finally ended up using her hands.

Halloween day, we went and visited my Grandpa Lewis. He loves to see the kids all dressed up and always has plenty of candy for them! This picture was right before I took Mya out Trick or Treating. Cutest little cowgirl and cow ever!!!!

Right before I was about to leave to take Mya Trick or Treating, we were downstairs and Scott happened to find his old high school football jersey. Scott made me wear it and dress up with Mya. I was very reluctant at first but I am glad that I did it ended up being really fun!! I think that Mya enjoyed it as well.
Mya and me showing off our muscles!!
We are having so much fun with our kids, so glad that they are a part of our life!!!
